For today's challenge I used No.7's Beautifully Black from October 2011, Sally Hansen's First Kiss from April 2012, Maybelline Colorshow Cool Blue from July 2013 and Color Club's Almost Famous from April 2012. Along with W7 Black.

Colour: Purple / Navy with Gold Flecks
Finish: Glittered Texture
Opacity: Two Coats

This polish can be worn as it is, or top coated for a glossy finish. I think this polish really comes to life and looks amazing once it has been top coated. I have shown both ways below:

Looking through my collection I noticed two polishes which were similar, one a possible dupe:

OPI - Alcatraz Rocks V's Leighton Denny - Razzmatazz

OPI - Alcatraz Rocks V's - Barry M - Countess 

Countess is more purple based where as Alcatraz Rocks is more blue / purple based.

Tutorial: Marble Nails (Bag Dab / Saranwrap / Clingfilm)

This is a dry marble technique, it is very similar to the clingfilm / saran wrap method. I use a plastic carrier bag to make this effect, it has been dubbed as 'the bag dab' by a friend!

What Do I Use?

Two Different Polishes

Carrier / Plastic Bag

Top Coat

Clean Up Brush

First paint your base and allow it to dry.

Then paint the next colour on top, working one nail at a time. Then dab the carrier / plastic bag on the nail until you get the desired effect.

Yes this is a bit messy but worth the end effect, you can go subtle or contrasting with the two polishes you choose. Go on to the next nail until you have finished all nails. Go ahead and top coat the nails.

Then clean up the fingers and cuticle areas and you are done.

OPI's Unripened was from the 2010 Halloween Mini Collection.

Colour: Green with hints of purple
Finish: Duo Chrome, Glass Flecked
Opacity: Two Coats
Brush Type: Standard but very small
How Much? 3.75ml

I would say if you can't get this then a dupe for it is ELF's Sea Escape.
