Is Copper Dreams a dupe for Gingerbread? No, but is similar. Gingerbread is straight up bronze with glass flecks, Copper Dreams is more copper in tone with a slight duochrome to red. Also Copper Dreams has more of a shimmer finish than Gingerbread which is more glass flecked.

Stamping Plate: Born Pretty Store BP-L056

This is a large rectangle stamping plate, hard plastic backed with 14 full nail images. Images are around two cm tall so ideal for longer nails.

The plate is winter themed and all of the images stamped across well. I got this stamping plate this past summer and am exited to use it this season.

Review: Born Pretty Store - 24 Slot Stamping Plate Holder

I have numerous rectangle stamping plates and nowhere to store them, so I looked on Born Pretty Store and bought this one.

This one is made from PU and is split in to two sides, one side holds rectangle plates (8 spaces) and the other holds square plates (16 spaces).

The design of this holder means that you can't double up on plates, they will fit in the plastic dividers but the holder won't zip up if you do that.

It is sturdy which is what you need from a stamping plate holder. I like the holder and most likely will be purchasing another similar one that only holds rectangle plates as I seem to be getting more of those to fit my longer nails.

If only it came in black rather than pink!

Nails: World Diabetes Day

November is Diabetes Awareness Month and November 14th is World Diabetes Day. I also did awareness nails last year which you can see here.

The reason behind today being World Diabetes Day is because the 14th November was Sir Fredrick Banting's birthday, the co-founder of insulin.
