Nails: Top Five Winter Polishes 2024

As today is Yule, the Winter Solstice signaling the start of the official winter season in the Northern Hemisphere I thought now would be a good time to share my top five winter polishes. Orly Spark, is a copper flakie in a clear base polish;

China Glaze Sleeping Under the Stars, is a dark purple with a faint pink shimmer;

Nails Inc St James, a basic red cream finish;

Emily de Molly Never Found It, green to red thermal;

Fancy Gloss Cold Weather Blues which is now two years old and it still transitions;

  

Nail Polish Battle 2024: Red

Today's battle is red polishes;

Orly Golden Waves // Orly Take Flight // Nails Inc St James // Orly Rustic Root // Cuticula Burning Embers // Orly Velvet Ribbon

From the six red and brown polishes I chose my top three;

St James is a bright red cream finish polish, a great basic for nail art;

Burning Embers is a dark red dense flakie polish, I don't have any other red flakie polishes so it is a good addition to my collection;

And finally Rustic Root which is the winner, it is a brick red which has a bit of a shimmer;
