Currently I don't seem to purchase many mainstream brands other than Barry M, but the other polishes in my collection which are mainstream which I like are Orly, Essie and Nails Inc.
Saturday was the Northern Hemisphere's Spring Equinox, so I thought I would do some nails to celebrate. As well we using more of the pink I am trying to finish!
Danny Boy Blue is a true colbalt blue, quite vivid similar to the original Sally Hansen Pacific Blue or Nails Inc Baker Street. No mistaking this for black or even a white, certainly a blue.
Dragons at Dusk is a beautiful duochrome polish, changing from blue to purple, there is also some teal in there too which is nice.
Which means the winner is The First Avenger which is a beautiful metallic primarily blue but a duochrome changing to purple on different angles.
Mint Candy Apple was THE nail polish of the year in 2013. I didn't get it then, but saw it recently on sale for under £3 and picked it up. The shade has changed slightly since it's first incarnation in 2009 from slightly blue tinged green to a mint tinged green. The formula has also improved.
