Then and Now Throwback Nails: South Park

As today is a Thursday I am throwing back to some nails I did in 2010, and recreating them now 11 years later to see if I have improved! While I don't own all the exact polishes used originally, I have used similar colours.

I think I have improved somewhat, but plenty of room for improvement. People, even cartoon ones are so hard to freehand!

Topic Tuesday: Least Favourite Colour and Why Buy?

Today's question is how many of your least favourite colour do you own and why do you buy them?

This was a toss up between yellow and pink, but I would wear some pinks as is so I have to say yellow is my least favourite polish colour.

Barry M - Lemon Sorbet // W7 - Sheer Lemon // China Glaze - Werk It Honey! // Barry M - Banana Split // Color Club - Almost Famous // Barry M - Mustard // Barry M - Butterscotch

I have seven yellow polishes, and I have bought them because I do use them. The lighter ones are nice for spring accents, or reverse stamping and the darker two are nice for autumn type nail art designs.

Nail Polish Battle 2019: Yellow, Gold, Brown

I think today is the most eclectic of the battles!

Breaking down the eight polishes and choosing my top three was quite easy. Maxim is a neutral red holographic polish, it is quite a subtle holographic. Camden Town was the second A England polish I chose, this is quite difficult to describe, a plum brown holographic. The holographic flair in this one is stronger than Maxim.

Which of course means that the surprising winner is Butterscotch. I say surprising because this colour isn't holographic and it is a bit of an unusual shade. A 70's mustard colour, which is very unique to my collection, and having over 500 polishes now that is quite a feat!
