MoYou Stamping Nail Polish - Purple Rain

This special nail polish is a polish designed specially for stamping, although you can use it as a standard nail polish. MoYou describe the colour as "the perfect mix of mauve and grey, with a purple undertone" which is how I would also describe it. The colour on the swatch is colour accurate rather than the bottle shot.

The brush is flat and wide.

The bottle contains 12ml.

MoYou Black and White stamping polishes are my go to stamping polishes, they are opaque and show up well on any base colour. Purple Rain is also opaque and stamps over light base polishes, which hopefully shows in my nail art below:

Overall this is a good stamping polish, opaque, stamps well, and definitely covers a lighter base polish.

Stamping Plate: MoYou Nails - 123

MoYou Nails have recently released a new batch of stamping plates. I have used the brand before and have purchased plates from them before, you can see my reviews on their other plates here. This plate was sent for reviewing purposes, which won't effect my opinion.

 

As you can see the plates come in a cellophane package and have a blue plastic layer to protect the plate in transit. The plates are fully backed as well with the website address, this is useful as it also means no sharp edges. Which in turn means my fingers don't get cut with sharp edges!

 

Below is the images stamped on to white paper. They all stamped well, perhaps a little wonky but again that is down to the squishy stamper I used. There are four full sized images, measuring in at 15mm x 18mm. Which is wider than some of the previous MoYou Nails plates, so if you had problems with those images being too slim for nails these should fit better.

MoYou Stamping Nail Polish - Grey Skies

This special nail polish is a polish designed specially for stamping, although you can use it as a standard nail polish. MoYou describe the colour as "the perfect mix of mauve and grey, with a purple undertone" which is how I would also describe it. Stamping Plate: MoYou - 404 City Landscape Square*

 

This square stamping plate is from MoYou, it came in a cardboard sleeve in a plastic packaging.

 

The stamping plate is plastic backed which means the edges aren't sharp. There is a blue plastic sticker over the plate to protect it which needs to be removed before using it,

There are 15 images on the stamping plate six of which are full nail images.

The city skyline images stamped well. I had some problems with the wording as they were quite finely engraved. The six full size images stamped well, the size of them are just long enough for my nails, 2cm tall.

MoYou Stamping Nail Polish - Chilean Fire

 This stamping nail polish is a polish designed specially for stamping which comes in a small cardboard box.

MoYou describe it as;
"MoYou Nail Fashion's Chilean Fire stamping nail polish is perfect for the summer season. Use this with tropical stamping nail art plates for a stunning manicure.  Works best with bright tones and has a softer and subtle shade on darker colours."

As they say you can use it as a standard nail polish, which I have swatched below;

Chilean Fire is a orange shade which dries to a semi matte finish. MoYou say it is great for summer nails however I think Halloween stamping is great with this polish. The brush is flattened and wide.

I used this on the MoYou stamping mat to show it over a dark base as well as a light base and as you can see it does cover both lighter bases as well as a darker base.

MoYou Stamping Nail Polish - Chestnut Road

 This stamping nail polish is a polish designed specially for stamping which comes in a small cardboard box.

MoYou describe it as;
"Chestnut Road stamping nail polish by MoYou Nail Fashion is a berry red colour, ideal for the festive season and Spring. This shade is perfect as a base or a stamping design suitable for all stamping plates"

As they say you can use it as a standard nail polish, which I have swatched below;

Chestnut Road is a darker red shade which dries to a semi matte finish. As well as it being good for Christmas I think it would be good for Valentine's Day. The brush is flattened and wide.

I used this on the MoYou stamping mat to show it over a dark base as well as a light base and I would say while it does cover lighter bases, over a black it struggles to be seen.
